POLO IV is a superb state of the art high speed game fishing vessel. She is designed from the keel up to catch fish. She is fully equipped with everything to make your trip that little more comfortable.
With the walk around hull and cabin you have an ideal scenario for angling and viewing enabling you to accommodate more anglers with this layout. The galley includes, microwave, bench top and coffee making facilities making the experience a bit more pleasurable.
A fully enclosed electric toilet and shower facility are also part of the vessels features.
POLO IV is a 9 meter custom craft powered by twin turbo 200hp inboard Yanmar diesels which give her a cruise speed of 25 knots, ensuring a quick turnaround to the fishing grounds. The electronics are the latest in technology including GPS, sounder VHF, HF and CB radios and autopilot. As for safety, lifejackets, lifeboats and flares are also part of the vessels equipment.
The CD sound system adds to a little light entertainment on these waters. The vessels sea keeping will impress even the most critical.

EQUIPTMENT & TACKLE
The vessel is equipped with a fighting chair; fly bridge and tackle ranging from 12lbs to 130lb with both Penn International and Shimano gear and has an extensive range of lures to target species in the area. During the Tuna season we normally fish with 5 x 130lb rod and reels and 2 x 80lbs.
Depending on the season and the targeted species we will have appropriate tackle for all occasions.
All the skippers are fully qualified to RYA standard and are part owners of the vessel. They have known each other for many years and frequently fish together
Danny Gabay and Anthony Pons have fished extensively worldwide and both represent Gibraltar at European Big Game Fishing championships having ranked Silver (Kenya, Watamu in 2006), Silver (Mexico, Zijuatanejo in 2008) + Gold (Senegal, Dakar in 2010).
Lee Torres and Johnny Neish are both skippers and have many years experience fishing local waters.
All the above skippers have vast experience fishing local waters.
